If you buy a new refrigerator, be sure to recycle your old one. On average, an old refrigerator uses about 35% more energy than a model that has earned the ENERGY STAR. Make sure you keep your fridge in an ambient temperature of 35 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit. If you need a second refrigerator year-round, replace the old one with a new ENERGY STAR certified. Refrigerators over 15 years old could be costing you more than $80 per year to run. Some refrigerants are hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), which are powerful greenhouse gases with GWPs hundreds or thousands of times higher than CO 2. The GWP compares the warming power of a substance to an equivalent amount of CO 2 (GWP = 1 for CO 2). Selecting an ENERGY STAR certified model with a lower GWP refrigerant means your product will have a much lower impact on the climate if the refrigerant is released into the environment. Consider selecting a refrigerator with a lower Global Warming Potential refrigerant Refrigerants with lower global warming potential (GWP) for refrigerators include R-600a and R-441A. There are downsides to all this flexibility, of course. Do you want to be able to run 10 drives internal to the machine? Well, of course, Windows can do it. Do you want on-board instrumentation inputs? Windows can do it. Do you want four beefy graphics cards working in tandem? Windows can do it. If you want to build a machine yourself, you can add nearly any configuration of cards and features you want. When it comes to customization, that choice increases exponentially. That means if you want a Windows computer that's really a tablet with a detachable keyboard, an all-in-one, a super-beefy tower machine with lots of blinking colored lights, or even a system on a USB thumb drive, along with so many more options, there's a Windows machine for you. Windows machines are built by hundreds of manufacturers, and users have long built their own machines from easily-available components. Microsoft has long embraced touch-screen computing with Windows, a feature not found in Macs anywhere. No matter what kind of computer you want, what configuration, or what form-factor, there's a Windows machine for you. In fact, choice is Windows' outstanding feature. For most people, Windows is the default choice. But corporate usage, with the exception of some companies like IBM, is almost all Windows. In developed markets like the US, the Mac percentage is considerably higher, at around 20 percent. The much bigger cost for all these environments will be your ongoing maintenance expenses.īy most accounts, Windows runs on roughly 90 percent of PCs worldwide, with desktop Linux usage accounting for a very low single digit percentage of usage and MacOS making up the rest. Macs always come with MacOS, so there's no cost there. Pretty much the only time you're going to pay to buy Windows is if you're building one of your own, and we'll address that later. If you have an old PC, it almost certainly came with Windows.
PROPERTY FEATURES Period of Significance: The Courthouse is open to the public during regular business hours. Today the paper industry flourishes in Green Bay. It was at this time that many Belgian, German, Scandinavian, Irish, and Dutch immigrants settled to farm the fertile soil of the area. By the late 1840s, when Wisconsin became a state, the lumber trade started to prosper in Green Bay. Soon thereafter, many French voyagers, fur trappers, and Jesuit missionaries came to what they called "La Baie des Puants" (The Bay of the Stinking Water) and "La Baie Verte"(Green Bay). Originally home to Woodland Indian tribes, the first Europeans came to the area via the Fox River in 1634. Green Bay is where Wisconsin's first Europeans settled. Sculptor Sidney Bedore completed this sculpture, "Spirit of the Northwest," in 1922. A statue depicting French explorer Nicolas Perrot, Jesuit missionary Father Claude Allouez, and a Native American stands just outside the courthouse. He painted the dome with the themes Justice, Agriculture, Commerce, and Industry. Other murals depict battles, the American military base at Fort Howard, and the arrival of missionary Father Claude Allouez in the company of an Indian Chief. One depicted the landing of Jean Nicolet, the area¿s first European explorer, in 1634. In 1910, Milwaukee based artist Franz Rohrbeck painted various murals inside the courthouse. The art displayed at the Brown County Courthouse is as impressive as its architecture. The courthouse, faced with Marquette raindrop stone, has a copper-covered dome, bell, and clock tower which houses an original Seth Thomas clock. Beaux Arts buildings display more elaborate ornamentation than pure Neoclassical structures, although both draw inspiration from classical architecture. The three-story courthouse is of the Beaux Arts style which was popular prior to World War I. Bell, who also designed the capitols of Montana and South Dakota. With impressive architecture and interesting art, it is no wonder that the press praised the building by Minneapolis based architect, Charles E. In 1911, an eastern newspaper wrote that Brown County's newly constructed courthouse was the "grandest courthouse in the west". 100 South Jefferson Street, Green Bay, Brown County And for Gunn, there was never going to be a different Peacemaker theme song.A well-done opening titleeven if it’s only ten seconds long with your name and the name of your YouTube clipcan do much to set a polished mood to your video. It may sound like '80s hair rock down to its very core, but its actually off the band's 2010 album Non Stop Rock'n Roll. The song featured in the opening of every episode of Peacemaker is "Do Ya Wanna Taste It," by Wig Wam, a Norweigan glam metal band. What is the song featured in the Peacemaker opening credits? "Īnd that's a great goal to make, and probably why Gunn so frequently utilizes the credits scene to such great effect (each episode of Peacemaker has a little scene tag at the end of the credits, and he has used these scenes to great effect in both The Suicide Squad and both of his Guardians of the Galaxy movies): he wants people to stick around and see the names of everyone who worked so hard on these super fun projects. Having the viewers do that for all eight episodes would make it well worth doing what we did. "People work really hard on these things, and you want the audience to be paying attention when their names go by. "Part of my goal is to vanquish the Skip Intro button," he said. Gunn also had another singular goal: to make sure viewers weren't even thinking skipping the credits when watching Peacemaker. "I love having dance sequences and having fun with it and I wanted something in the beginning of this show that was going to be different and fun and make it clear that we were going to be a different kind of superhero show, that we didn’t have any rules in place, and that would say something about the creative approach and tone," Gunn said in another interview with Rolling Stone, adding that he did a similar opening sequence for his underrated 2010 film Super, though that time it was all animated. It's joyous, hilarious, and hypnotizing all at the same time. "I really wanted to do a dance number where everybody was doing something incredibly ridiculous, and looked incredibly serious while they were doing it," Peacemaker writer and director James Gunn told Polygon. But if anyone dares to ever press the 'Skip Intro' button for Peacemaker, the hilariously vulgar and hyperviolent new HBO Max series, we may have to fight.Īfter a first episode cold open that finds John Cena's Chris Smith-Peacemaker-discharged from the hospital and seemingly free from his previous incarceration, some guitar riffs kick in and suddenly we're transported to another world a void where Peacemaker, a handful of other familiar characters from The Suicide Squad (Jennifer Holland as Harcourt and Steve Agee as Economos), and several other new faces (including Freddie Stroma's masked Vigilante and Danielle Brooks as Adebayo) are all gleefully taking part in a dance routine but with the expressions on their faces that look like someone tried to make them laugh while in line at the DMV. I tend to be on the losing end of this debate often, though, as many people seem to value their time so much that the most important thing is just to skip the frills and get to the action. Not every show is as successful as those, but still-that's the point. Shows like Succession, The Sopranos, Game of Thrones, and Yellowjackets, for instance, all have opening sequences that not only feature catchy songs with visually compelling on-screen accompaniments but also are absolutely perfect at what they're intended for: to get you in the mood for the show. First off, try reading the instructions on the dip stick. Leak will be from the TC area if it shows. I did this and ended up removing about 4 quarts.ĭoes this seem like a good approach? Letting the fluid drain out until level with top of pan? I leveled frame as a reference for level and drained from the back of the pan. No, over filling wont cause a leak unless you start offroading. Transmission tech told me I should just level the vehicle and loosen the pan bolts until the fluid stops running out, keeping the upper limits of the cold fluid level at the top of the pan. I consulted a transmission shop, and he said it may be overfilled, which does make sense considering that the dipstick readings would be too high if the tube is not seated all the way. The leak appears on the rear of the pan, but it also feels wet on the top of the transmission where the pan mounts, so I think it is a traveling leak on top of the transmission, following the slope of the pan until it reaches the back of the pan, where it can accumulate enough to make drops. I had another thread about this, thinking it was a gasket or pan problem. I noticed the leak after changing the fluid and gasket when I had a radiator problem. The top of the filler tube neck is bent from mechanic trying to hammer it in, so I imagine he had a hard time to reinstall it, plus the upper mounting bracket does not line up with the block hole, so the tube is floating. Automatic transmissions are very susceptible to damage from overfill. I had a new main filler tube installed, but it appears as if the mechanic who installed it did not fit it all the way in. Yes, BlueDevil Transmission Sealer will work with Automatic Transmission Fluid in a standard transmission. One short part is pressed into the transmission and the main filler tube inserts into that. I used a scope and it appears as if the leak is a seeping type leak, not a dripping type and might be where the transmission filler tube goes into the transmission, or possibly even the upper tube connection. I have been chasing a very slow transmission fluid leak on my 98 Expedition 5.4 4x4 and have not been able to isolate it until now.
