You imply, if not actually state, that you are using Apple's Photos app. My responses to your comments and questions are shown below in red. I've one or two comments that might help. If none of the above is of help, through my misunderstanding, then Rod's advice will surely restore your pictures back to your Photos app from wherever they are.įor my own peace of mind & understanding, it would be great if you could find the time to reply. Or it could be that the pictures you deleted were not in the Photos app, but filed elsewhere - and ended up in the Mac's Trash? My confusion may simply be that things have changed since El Capitan. But the pictures shouldn't be in the Mac's Trash, as I stated above. I'm trying to understand which "Trash" you are referring to because in Photos' Trash, it offers to "Recover" or "Delete" whereas in the Mac's Trash, you have to Right Click on the items and then it comes up with "Put Back" as one of the options. Thus, I am confused by your use of the word "Trash" - the confusion is mine, not your fault. (Maybe they did in El Capitan - can't recall, but certainly not in any recent Operating Systems) If you knew this and, in fact, consciously deleted them, then they are gone - they do not go into Mac's Trash. To check if some/all are still there, Open Photos and on the Left Sidebar, under Library, look for "Recently Deleted" and click on that.ģ. Their noses and eyes come in different colors, and the pads on their paws are brick red or gray. The brown tabby cat is usually healthier than other cats who are the result of over-breeding or extensive inbreeding by cat breeders trying to display recessive genes (especially albino). There are some interesting further facts on how the type of stripe is created through genes! Because the tabby pattern is a dominant gene, it is the most popular type of cat coat pattern in the world. The “ M” on their foreheads is one common tabby characteristic. Brown Tabby Cats and Their Tabby Traits Brown tabby cats boast that distinctive “M” on their foreheads. Interestingly, it is also believed that the Toyger’s creator intended the breed to inspire tiger conservation in order to increase the number of the big cats in their natural habitats. Toygers are believed to have been bred by one woman in the 1980s who imported a tom from India in order to perfect a tiny tiger phenotype. The breed is purported to have been created by breeding Bengals to a variety of cat breeds. The Toyger (“toy tiger”) is another unusual brown tabby cat who looks wild. These wildcats are nearly extinct in their natural habits (primarily Asia, Central America and South America) - so our brown tabby Felis catus is the closest most people will come to seeing their regal relatives. The Amur leopard cat, the Tsushima leopard cat, ocelots and margays are dead ringers for brown tabbies. There are a few wildcats who are about the same size as our domestic cats resembling the traditional brown tabby cat as well. Bengals were originally bred from the Asian leopard cat ( Prionailurus bengalensis bengalensis). It’s not super thick and there’s no padding-it’s just a simple strap. The Parker Commuter Backpack also has a removable hip belt, which attaches to the pack with velcro. Timbuk2 Parker Commuter Backpack Hip Belt We haven’t lost this particular sternum strap (yet), but we’ve had it happen on other packs that use a similar attachment style. Of course, with time, this divot will only get worse. First of all, the hook digs into the material on the backpack strap, which has already caused a tiny divot to form. Unfortunately, we’re not too fond of how this sternum strap attaches to the pack. It also has some elasticity to help with comfort and an elastic strap keeper for that coveted #DangleFreeExperience (there are strap keepers on the backpack straps as well). There’s an adjustable sternum strap, which closes with a magnetic clasp that’s easy to work with one hand. Timbuk2 Parker Commuter Backpack Sternum Strap All that to say, that dreaded swamp back should be kept to a minimum. The padding itself is porous and breathable-plus there’s a huge air channel running down the center of the back panel. Now, two weeks in, it’s oh-so-comfortable. But-we’re happy to report-it’s since broken in very nicely. The back panel felt stiff and uncomfortable. When we first started testing this pack, we were not fans of this design. Seriously, there are two bricks of super dense, super thick padding. The back panel is where you’ll find all the padding. Timbuk2 Parker Commuter Backpack Back Panel We would have appreciated a touch more padding to make the carry more comfortable. Although they do feature nice, breathable mesh. The shoulder straps don’t have a ton of padding and it’s not very dense. Moving right along to the harness system. Timbuk2 Parker Commuter Backpack Shoulder Straps Then you can use the rainfly pocket as an extra storage pocket. If you don’t want or need a rainfly, it detaches with velcro, so you can easily take it out of the pack. It also has a reflective panel, as well as reflective decals, so you don’t sacrifice visibility for water-resistance. But if that built-in water-resistance isn’t enough for you-say you have to bike to work in the pouring rain or your life involves touring waterfalls and rafting rivers-you’re in luck! The pack comes with a rainfly, which tucks away into a zippered compartment at the bottom of the pack. We already mentioned that the Timbuk2 Parker Commuter Backpack is highly water-resistant. Timbuk2 Parker Commuter Backpack Zippersįinishing off the materials, the Timbuk2 Parker Commuter Backpack features durable YKK zippers throughout, plus hardy Duraflex and Woojin buckles and hardware. There’s also welted fabric over the zipper of the main compartment for even more water-resistance. Rain will simply bead and run off of the pack. Overall, this material is durable, although prone to aesthetic scuffs. And, while we usually find that this kind of plastic-y material feels swishy, the thickness of the fabric mitigates that. That said, there is no ripstop on the Parker Commuter Backpack like there is on the Timbuk2 Impulse Travel Backpack Duffel. So if you’re interested in getting into the nitty-gritty, we suggest you head over there. We dig deep into this material on our review of the Timbuk2 Impulse Travel Backpack Duffel. The main exterior of this bag is a polyethylene vinyl acetate. Timbuk2 Parker Commuter Backpack Material It’s small and, as far as we’re concerned, only adds to the overall vibe of the pack. Timbuk2 Parker Commuter Backpack LogoĪs far as branding is concerned, there is a white Timbuk2 on the front with “San Francisco” below it. The backpack straps also feature reflective panels. Okay, not really, but you can see it from a good distance away. And when we say “highly reflective” we mean this thing could burn retinas. The backpack also has a highly reflective panel at the bottom, regardless of colorway, which adds to the techy vibe and helps with visibility. Timbuk2 Parker Commuter Backpack Reflective Panel We’ve been testing the black colorway, which we think looks particularly sleek in that urban, Matrix-y sort of way. Several Timbuk2 packs have only been available in black, so try not to be too overwhelmed with the options here. Materials & AestheticĪt the time of this review, the Parker Commuter Backpack is available in two colorways-Olivine and Jet Black. So how has it performed? Let’s take a look. We’ve been testing the Timbuk2 Parker Commuter Backpack around the streets of Detroit, Michigan for two weeks. Timbuk2 Parker Commuter Backpack In Detroit This 30L expandable pack is ideal for EDC (everyday carry) but also works as a travel bag for short excursions.
